Sustainable Support for the Armed Forces
Foxtrot
UAH 50+1 million to help our people. Synergy of the Foxtrot business, its founders and employees in supporting the Defense Forces of Ukraine
The problems:
– the “fatigue” among Ukrainians from the war against the aggressor country the Russian Federation,
– the decrease in public trust in funds and fundraisers,
– respectively the risk of a decrease in donations and donors,
– the potential decrease in the coefficient of useful action for covering the needs of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
– the lack of unity between members of society in confronting the aggressor country.
Solution: Development of its own volunteer community within the Foxtrot Company, initiated by employees and strengthened by the founders of the brand Valerii Makovetsky and Gennadii Vykhodtsev, as well as supported by other Foxtrot Group companies.
In 2023-2025, corporate volunteers organized:
– 3 charity unity auctions by 15 employees from 5 Foxtrot Group companies;
– We attracted 900 active participants from 5 Foxtrot Group companies, who donated 28 artifact lots during the auction.
– We provided stable financial support for the auction from the co-founders of the Foxtrot, DEPOt, Fantasy Town, Foxteam Digital brands, Gennadii Vykhodtsev and Valerii Makovetsky.
– Through the joint efforts of employees of the enterprises that develop these brands, we managed to collect UAH 1,074,346 during three unity auctions among employees.
– As a result, we helped 28 fellow defenders who are currently fighting in the hottest spots of the Great War for the Independence of Ukraine.
– We supplemented Foxtrot’s contribution to supporting fellow defenders (during the full-scale war, the company donated equipment worth UAH 2 million).
Charity auctions “Lets Act for Ourselves”, which take place at the end of the year, are the culmination of the activities of the Foxtrot Group’s volunteer movement “I Want to Help”. Activists from Foxtrot, YK, Depot, UK GKF, Foxteam Digital, etc., participate in them, and have become annual.
From October 15 to November 5, 2025, the Third Charity Auction was held at the GKF, initiated by corporate volunteers of the “I WANT TO HELP” movement under the slogan “Let’s Act for Ourselves!”.
The success of volunteers in 2025 was ensured by:
– moral component (helping fellow defenders);
– organizational component (self-organization);
– communication component (use of company resources);
– employee trust in the auction through support from the business and its leaders.
A well-coordinated team of organizers of the auction -2025 was formed.
These are Foxtrot employees – Yana Yakymovych, Viktor Danilov, Oksana Kovalchuk, Nataliya Hrymalyuk, Oleksandr Kazelsky. Their efforts were reinforced by volunteers from other companies – Oksana Ivanina (UK), Andriy Prykhodko (Security Department of the GKF), Anastasia Zayets (Fantasy Town), Khrystyna Rusalovych and Mykhailo Bukata (Foxteam Digital), Viktoriya Dyadyus (DDG), who:
– in September 2025, held 2 organizational meetings, where they agreed on the decision to continue the practice of auctions and adjusted the timing and system of 17 motivating prizes from Foxtrot for all donors, not just ticket holders for the random drawing of the main lots;
– found and delivered to Kyiv 8 artifacts that became the main lots of the 2025 auction;
– collected information about 8 colleagues whose units needed reinforcement with equipment in the war;
– on October 28, organized an exhibition of lots at the Foxtrot central office in Kyiv;
– filmed an online tour of the exhibition of lots at the Foxtrot central office and sent it to readers of the corporate news feed and on social networks;
– created monobanks for each lot, recorded the status of donors throughout the auction and “broken” the banks after the end of the auction on 11/5/2025.
– on 11/5/2025, an online auction draw was held among all donors of the auction;
Currently, the movement activists have organized the purchase of the necessary equipment for fellow defenders and its shipment to their place of service;
The terms of the charity auction provide for mandatory reporting to the auction participants on the transfer of equipment.
Results of solving the problem in 2025.
– Corporate volunteers raised UAH 175,395 using 8 auction lots to provide equipment for 8 colleagues (the results are clear – in the corporate auction in 2024, volunteers managed to raise UAH 143,968.47 for 11 unique lots);
– In 2025, the founders of the Foxtrot brand, Gennadii Vykhodtsev and Valerii Makovetsky, doubled the amount, thus bringing the collection result to UAH 350,790.
This is a real effective synergy between business and employees. After all, Foxtrot donated UAH 50.6 million worth of equipment to the Defense Forces during the Great War and 2 million worth of equipment for fellow defenders. And employees organized a unity auction three times and raised over UAH 1,074,346 to support their colleagues in the war.
As an interim result, the trust of employees of participating businesses in fundraising events within their companies was strengthened.
This was influenced by the communication company to attract corporate opinion leaders who took part in the video presentation of the lots. On the GKF Youtube channel, the lots were advertised by Yana Yakymovych (HR Director of Foxtrot), Serhiy Mashkin (HR Director of the GKF Corporate Management), Danil Veklenko (Operations Director of Foxtrot), Volodymyr Nikitenko (Commercial Director of DDG), Alevtyna Demutska (PR Manager of the GKF Corporate Management) and Darya Blyznyuk (Head of the Audio-Video and Photo Equipment Department of Foxtrot).
The newly appointed executive director of Foxtrot, Yuriy Polishchuk, in his first days at Foxtrot not only supported the initiative, but also offered his own lot – a facade plate from the front-line school of Myrnograd in the Donetsk region.
The founders of the Foxtrot brand, Gennady Vykhodtsev and Valery Makovetsky, initiated their own lot – a personalized token “I help ours” for a donation to the auction monobanks from 50 UAH, and not only for 8 lots with a fixed ticket.
This token is a symbol of indifference, engraved on a steel token stylized as a soldier’s.
It is manufactured by the RBTNK brand (Really Busy Talented ‘N Kind), founded by a military man, Jordan Konstantinidi.
The donor’s name can be written on the token, as proof that even the smallest donation leaves an imprint on a great cause.
During the lottery to choose the owner of the “I Help Our People” token, 585 names of auction participants who donated at least once during the campaign were loaded into the randomizer.
The owner of the token was Natalia Gonchar, a participant in all the meetings to help the military both in her company and outside. She joins every initiative, supporting the defenders from the very beginning.
