Ukrainian Food Foundation TERMINAL

    • Problem. Ukraine faced an incredible challenge. When more than 4 million Ukrainians were forced to leave their hometowns. Most of these internally displaced persons lost absolutely all means of livelihood and coverage of even their basic food needs. Our task was to create a platform for uniting socially responsible businesses for the sake of constant and large-scale food support for Ukrainians who need it most. A tool for increasing food security in Ukraine.
    • Solution. “Ukrainian Food Foundation TERMINAL”. The first charitable underground food terminal in Ukraine, working with rescued products from manufacturing companies. It allows you to attract products from socially responsible businesses from all over the country for free to support Ukrainians. It has autonomous power supply and is located on the underground floor, which allows you to work during blackouts and rocket attacks. Thanks to this, it became the first safe space for corporate volunteering in Ukraine.
    • Result. Thanks to the work of the terminal, it was possible to attract more than 20 permanent donor companies. This allowed for regular mass food distributions, the formation of thousands of humanitarian kits, and charity food markets. During the work, more than 2,100,000 kg of food products were saved and transferred to the needs of Ukrainians. More than 350,000 beneficiaries received assistance. The total value of the saved products exceeded the investment in the project by more than 17 times.
